1. Read & Meditate On Scripture Daily
Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
The word “health” in verse 22 is a Hebrew word meaning “Medicine”. The Word of God is daily medicine to your flesh! Attend do the Word! Let Scripture drop down into your heart, and keep your eyes on what God has said. Every time you read Scripture, healing is manifesting in your flesh!
2. Speak Life & Confess the Word
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
In your life, God has given you the authority call forth life and death by the words that you speak. Speak life! Don’t say “This pain is killing me”, “if anyone’s going to get the flu this year it’ll be me!” because you will surely have whatever you say (Mark 11:23-24)
Call things that be not as though they were. If your arm is broke, you don’t have to deny the facts and say “my arm isn’t really broke!”. Instead call things that be not as though they were and say “I call my arm well, I call it whole in Jesus name! I believe I am made whole!”
If you are dealing with an illness, speak to the mountain to be removed! Confess Scripture over your body. Speak life: “By His stripes, I am healed!”
3. Exercise Faith and Authority In Prayer
Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
In this passage we see Authority and Faith being exercised. Taking authority over a mountain and telling it to be removed, and faith in operation to receive what you desire.
When I was 15, I spoke to the mountain of cancer that was on my body and told it to be removed, and I prayed the prayer of faith to receive total healing in my body. By that time the following week, the Doctors reported that the tumors were gone.
When we pray, we can use Authority in Jesus name, and we must release our faith! Many people beg, cry, plead and ask repeatedly but this isn’t what moves God. What moves God is when you finally say “I have it, it’s mine now. That settles it, and I don’t care what the circumstances tell me!”
