RIVER EASTER EGG HUNT 2025
Hello! The River Church invites you to join us for an unforgettable time for the whole family at the fairgrounds! 

Mark your calendars for this joyous event on Saturday April 19th, 3PM!

We’ve got 11,000 eggs filled with treats and surprises waiting to be discovered during our FOUR separate egg hunts, tailored for kids aged 1-2, 3-5, and 6-12! 
 1-2 years old (Parents may accompany)
 3-5 years old (Parents may not accompany)
 6-12 years old (Parents may not accompany)
 3-12 Special Needs (Parents may accompany)

Each age group will have their own designated area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our egg hunters! 

But wait, there’s more!  In addition to the egg hunts, we’ll have fun-filled giveaways, prizes and a short inspirational message from Pastor Zach!

 So gather your family and friends, and let’s make this River Easter Egg Hunt an unforgettable day! Don’t forget your baskets, and be sure to tag and share this event with your loved ones!

Is this a free event?
Entry and participation to the event is totally free! This event is paid for by the members and partners of The River Church! If you’d like to make a contribution towards this years event, or next year, you can go to https://therivercoshocton.com/give

The only thing that isn’t free are the optional vendors and food trucks that we allow to set up a tent, table or truck on site.

What should I expect?
Make sure you have registered for the event. When you come you can simply come in, you’ll be greeted by our staff who will also be available to answer questions. We will do a few brief giveaways, Pastor Zach will preach a short, but inspirational, message from Scripture on why we celebrate Easter, and then we will give instructions for the Easter Egg Hunt. Following the Easter Egg Hunt we will be doing giveaways for bikes, toys and giftcards.
* The order may change the day of, but this is the gist of the day!

How does the Easter Egg Hunt work?
There are four egg hunts happening at the same time. 0-2, 3-5, 6-12 and special needs. For the 0-2 and Special Needs adults are allowed to assist the children. For 3-5 and 6-12 adults are not allowed on the field.

When it’s time for the Egg Hunt, listen to the person on the microphone on the stage. They will direct everyone line up at the age appropriate hunt. Once we sound the alarm, the egg hunt begins and children can rush on the field and collect as many eggs as they can!

What happens after the Easter Egg Hunt?
Business vendors will still be available! Go explore some of the businesses and the icecream truck!

What are some of the giveaways and prizes?
Every year is different. This year you can expect bicycles, new toys and gift cards! We would also like to give away a car to someone in need at the event if one is donated. If you, or someone you know, would like to donate a vehicle, please see our Donate A Car page!

We have been serving our community for over a decade. Our mission is to see Coshocton experience the love of Jesus and to show our city that they can have a living, breathing, relationship with the one who created them.

Will You Have An Easter Sunday Service?
Yes! We have a powerful Easter Sunday Service every year. Join us this Sunday at 10:30AM (doors open at 10). Come as you are as we explore the Resurrection of Jesus, and how the power of the resurrection can be experienced in your life every day!

If you are looking for a Church home, and a family of believers to belong too, attend one of our church services every Sunday at 10:30AM! We have a program for children 0-12 as well.
