Praying For Yourself

Many times people undo their prayers. They get into unbelief and just stay there. It’s as if they’re spinning their wheels in prayer. In prayer you may have to stand your ground for a period of time. But, if they stay in the arena of faith, the answer will always come! Here are some faith and scripture filled prayers for you to meditate on!

Praying for Financial Provision
Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, and I thank You already know everything that I need before I even ask You (Matt 6:8). You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides! Thank you that You are my Shepherd and I shall not lack (Ps. 23:1). You said in Your Word that You would supply all of my needs according to Your riches and glory in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19). So, Lord, I lift this need for provision up to You now, and I believe I receive supernatural provision in Jesus mighty name! Thank you Lord! Jesus, you said take no thought for my provision (Matt 6:25), so I cast my care for this thing on You now (1 Peter 5:7)!

Praying for Depression
Father, I come You in Jesus mighty name. You said in Your Word that the Joy of the Lord is my strength (Neh 8:10). Lord, I thank You that the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). I speak to this depression now, in Jesus name, and I command it to go from me. I think you Lord that your glory is shining upon me, and I arise today out of this depression (Isaiah 60:1). This is the day that You have made, and I WILL rejoice and be glad in it (Ps 118:24)! Lord, today, like Your Word instructs, I will think on whatever things are true, honest, pure, lovely and of a good report (Phil 4:8). I receive Your Joy now, in Jesus name. Amen.

Praying for Anxiety
Father God, I come to You in the awesome name of Jesus. You said in Your Word to be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication make my request known to you (Phil 4:6). Lord, I trust in You with all my heart, and I do not lean on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Jesus, You said to take no thought for my life because You would care for me (Matthew 6:25). So Lord, right now, by faith, I cast the whole of my care, all my anxieties and worries once and for all on You, because I know You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). I will not fear, I will not dread, because I believe in You and You are with me (Psalm 118:6). I put the pressure for these things that cause me anxiety on Your Word, and I release the weight of it on You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Praying for Personal Revival
Father God, I come to You now in Jesus name. Father, You said that I could come boldly to Your throne of grace to obtain mercy in my time of need (Hebrews 4:16). I ask You for forgiveness now over anything that I have said or done, knowingly or unknowingly, against Your Word (1 John 1:9). I ask You that the Blood of Jesus would wash and cleanse me of every sin, every guilt and every chain (1 John 1:7). I receive Your forgiveness now! I thank You that Your Word says, “He who knew no sin, became my sin so that I could become the righteousness of God in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:21) I thank You I am the Righteousness of God in Christ. You said in Your Word that if any man be in Christ, He is a new creature; old things are past away and all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Thank You that I am a New Creature! I ask now that You would fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit, with Your love, with Your peace and with Your Joy. I receive this now, by faith, in Jesus name. Amen!
